‍ADRS is pleased to announce our two international artists for the 2024 Conference:

Oboe Artist: Chi-Yuen Bobby CHENG

Bassoon Artist: Dr Yoshiyuki Ishikawa

Both Bobby and Yoshi will be presenting masterclasses and adjudicating the elite section of the competition.

Other activities at the conference will feature Baroque specialist Jane Downer, as well as Australian double reed experts with Australian premier performances, ensembles, masterclasses and our traditional Big Band where professionals, amateurs and students all get together to have fun in the biggest double reed ensemble in Australia.

The National Competition is well underway with information for competitors online at the ADRS Website. This year we have increased the cash prizes thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.

The schedule is still a work in progress and as soon as we have it ready it will be put up on the website and sent out in another newsletter, so as they say; "Watch This Space" and check the website regularly for updates.
